The purpose of this blog is to document the day to day events of my internship in NYC with EMI's Capitol Music Group. Virgin Records and Capitol Records are both part of Capitol Music Group, and I'll be working in the Publicity Department. I majored in Public Relations with a minor in music, and I think I may have found my dream internship.

This internship will provide me with course credit and requirements I need in order to finish my MA at Virginia Tech.

I have a deep love and appreciation for music, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to spend 8 weeks as a part of the music industry. I can't wait for the experience I'll gain and the people I'll meet.

the CRAZY line outside Grimaldi’s pizza in Brooklyn; voted as the best pizza in NY by Zagat.

It was pretty freaking amazing. Glad we got there early and only had to wait about 45 minutes. Some of these people must have waited hours for this pizza!
